DPMM FC steal one points at Jurong

Jurong West Stadium in Singapore was bombarded with 6 goals, but the in-form performances from both teams, Gombak United FC and DPMM FC produced no winner as the game ended with a 3-3 draw in Thursday evening.

The host entertained about 2000 spectators in the third minutes through Emmanuel Emuejeraye close range strike. Despite DPMM FC efforts to equalise, Gombak double their lead when Gabriel Obatola made no mistake to put down DPMM FC goal keeper, Wardun Yussof.

Two goals down after 70 minutes, Vjeran Simunic side did an impressive come back. Shahrazen Said started the show in the 71st minutes. It was then Abdel Hamid turn to score putting 2-2 after 78 minutes.

Five minutes before the actual time ended, Gombak is back on the lead after Rene Komar fouled Agu Camir in the penalty box. Obatola easily tapped the ball for Gombak 3, DPMM FC 2. However, Shahrazen once again put his name on the scoring lists for the evening in the 90 minutes to bring back a deserving points for DPMM FC.

Another luck for a win draught playing away games will be against SAFFC at Choa Chu Kang Stadium, Singapore this July 29.

Failed 2-1 to Tampines Rovers FC last week at Singapore, Brunei DPMM FC is still unbeaten at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium after edging Albirex Niigata FC 2-1. Down one-nil two minutes after Rosmin Kamis was red-carded in the 38th minutes, Vjeran Simunic's side had to score twice to ensure the winning momentum playing at home.

It was Tetsuya Kishida who break the scoreless mark at the 40th minutes to lead the game. But the next half of the game belongs to the hosts. Haji Subhi Abdillah put his name on the scoring sheets at the 75th minutes. DPMM FC then only had to wait another 4 minutes before Ivan Jerkovic scored the winning goals and to rock the supporters.

This is the first appearance of the team after the dismissal of Korean Oh Ddog Yi from the club.

From there, DPMM FC now back to the third spots of the S-League chart with 35 points, 10 points behind from the leader-SAFFC, and with a game advantage. As for the next fixture, DPMM FC will hope the winning spirits is enough to overcome the hosts Gombak United on 23rd July who is just separated by one point under in the fourth positions.

Hougang Stadium was the first loosing ground for the reigning League Cup holders, Brunei DPMM FC after the S-Leagues back to its business for the last two weeks.

Winning the first two home games 3-0 and 2-0 respectively over Geylang United and Balestier Khalsa FC, DPMM FC failed to maintain their winning runs to the host, Sengkang Punggol. FC Both teams faced the unfortunate injuries and suspensions to their first eleven players, thus showcased almost equal performances. It was Mamadou Diallo who got his name on the scoresheet 3 minutes before the first episod of the game ended. Murphy Wiredu then strengthen the Dolphin's lead at the 63 minutes, leaving the vistors mission for the next 3 points became hopesless. The only goals for Vjeran Simunic's side came in the 75 minutes through Mohd Shahrazen Said to wrap up the game with Geylang United FC 2, Brunei DPMM FC 1.

DPMM FC will stay at the 4th position spot after 17 games to share 32 ponits with their next rival on July 10th, Tampines Rovers FC at Tampines Stadiumn Singapore.

A 100% home record with a win for Brunei DPMM FC is still happening as the host added another 3 valuable points last night to retake the third S-League spot from Tampines Rovers FC. Besides winning two nil over the visitor-Balestier Khalsa FC, it was not one of the best performances shown. Balestier on the other half, struggled to showcase their ability in the attacking front. Vjeran Simunic's side is on the lead after 10 minutes when Shahrazen Said header find its net, frustrating the visitor. Missing few chances earlier to put more goals, DPMM FC then shows their strength playing at home ground when Rene Komar double the lead in the 89th minutes. That was an easy three points for DPMM FC. Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium has been an excellent ground for the host to steal maximum points for the last 12 matches in the S-League. After all, it was an excellent show by both teams to entertained more than 6000 spectators that evening.

As for the next league fixtures, DPMM FC will play two away games against Sengkang and Tampines on the 6th and 10th July respectively before entertaining the local fans on the 18th to host Albirex Niigata FC.

Brunei DPMM FC bid for the first of unprecedented three domestic Singapore trophies is only one step ahead when they through to the final. Brunei DPMM FC has overcome its final rival, SAFFC in the group stage, and this will be the second clashes in the League Cup competitions. After conquering the Singapore League Cup group stage, Brunei DPMM FC is now eyeing their first trophy to lift.

Eliminating Geylang United FC with a winning style in the quarter-final 5-3, Brunei DPMM FC fought with a very competitive football spirits in the semi-final against Woodlands Wellington FC. Down to 10 men after Abdelhamid Berguiga was red-carded 3 minutes towards the end, Vjeran Simunic squad managed to secure their final berth with a 2-1 win. Ivan Jerkovic free-kick in the 26 minutes put Brunei DPMM FC on the lead. Berguiga then easily headed to double the score in the 56 minutes before Iranian, Mojtaba Tehranizadeh score Woodlands only goal in the 73 minutes. Other chances, Berguiga, Ohh Ddog Yi and Azwan missed their great chances to add more goals.

As for the next fixture, Brunei DPMM FC will either play SAF FC or Home United, where the game will be played on 16th June. The final fixture will be very much interesting to the Bruneian football fans and that will be not happening until 19 June.

After an opening Singapore League Cup match in group stage with a 1-0 win over Young Lions FC on 2nd June, Brunei DPMM FC extended their winning run by thrashing SAFFC 3-0. Two win from two games, Brunei DPMM FC now led group 'A' table with 6 points, leaving SAFFC and Young Lions FC still looking for their first points from the cup matches. The valuable two maximum points also guaranteed the club positions in the quarter final rounds.

Haji Subhi Abdilah put his name as the first scorer for the club during against Young Lions FC. Ivan Jerkovic, Shahrazen Said and Abdelhamid Berguiga then put the club to the group A top positions after Vjeran Simunic's squad gained the winning momentum in style over SAFFC.

After edged one-nil by Home United FC at Clementi Stadium four days earlier, Brunei DPMM FC recorded their second defeats from thirteen games. A pulled back goal from Brunei DPMM FC substitute, Mahari Abu Bakar in the 65th minute is not enough to give Vjeran Simunic squad to steal three points from Woodlands Wellington FC at Woodlands ground.

The home team score their opening goal in the 33rd minute. Woodlands import player from Tehran, Mojtaba Tehranizadeh close range header entertained his supporters for a 1-0 lead.

As for the european football fans, the Champions League final is now between the defending champion, Manchester United and FC Barcelona. In the final decider, Arsenal lost 1-3 to United, (aggregate 1-4) while Barcelona won on away goals after one-all result at Stamford Bridge, furthermore denying the all english club to play for the title.
