Today remarks the start of the 16th ASEAN Prisons Track & Field Championships. The opening ceremony was held at the Indoor Stadium, Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex, Berakas. Pehin Orang Kaya Dewa Pahlawan Dato Paduka Awang Haji Dani bin Haji Ibrahim, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Brunei Darussalam was present as the guest of honour.
More pictures will be added soon...The sport events will run for three days as of today 19th december 2008 and schedule to end on 21 december 2008. Brunei Darussalam hosted the prestigious biennially sport events twice in 1990 and 1998. This year for the third times, our nation is honoured to host again. All events will be held at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, Berakas.
